Last Friday, i went to the YBAM 5th gathering camp. It was my first time joining them after our centre joined as one of the YBAM commitee members. Know this guy, Ding, during our Buddhist centre CNY gathering. He and his group paid us a visit and attended our 新年团拜 in January. Ding has been pushing me to join this camp about a month d. To show my support and nt wasting his hard works, i promised to go. Giving mysf a chance to expose and learn how its conducted, so i can go back to my centre and attracts my Childrens to start out with one like them. haiz.. when talk bout my Childrens, very disapointed with them. Always ffk and finding so much excuses to not attend things i have came up with.

So, this camp was held at Karuna Maruna, with 40 participants aged 14-18, representing each buddhist centres in selangor n kl to attend this camp. There were ppl came from far like Serdang, padang besar, etc. Im representing my damansara centre too. This time, i gt to choose my position, finally. All the camp i have attended, i just did wat i told, positioned as Group leader. Finally naik pangkat this time, i volunteer mysf to incharge the PA system. So for the 3days 2 nite camps, i was handling the sound system, projector and laptop connection, mic volume n etc. was kinda of bored and fun. Fun because i gt to choose all the background music and make sure they run smoothly. BOred because i jus get to sit there n watch them play and socialize bcz i gt to jaga my system at most time. Half of my time was spent on Solitaire and Minesweppers.. lol..

Hard nite we had on fri.. By the time we reached Karuna Maruna after fetching here and there, its already 11pm. 12am, we started our metting. Discussing all the event scheduled in details. 230am, we started with trial games. Every games that have planned, we got to try once. Then, we got to do the set up. By the time everything done, its already 430am. We gt to slp an hour plus, at 6am, everyone got to wake up d. Just for your info, in every buddhist camp, everyone gt to wake up at 6am, 630am sharp will be having MOrning class (chanting + meditation) that lasted 30mins to an hour before we gt to have breakfast.

i pull mysf up, and bath at 6am! just to keep mysf fresh and awake. after breakfast and etc, students start coming and registered themselves. By 10am, when everyone has turned up we started with ice-breaking. Everyone seem to enjoy so much, but i wasnt..haiz.. activties and games jus followed on, afternoon we had station games. Its was kinda of exiciting, as its my first indoor camp, indoor station games. Was curious what can they had. But after all, everyone just enjoyed themselves and gt to see their cooperative spirit thru these learning activities.At nite, we had a sharing session, with soft music and lights off. Was so touching, cz everyone gt to reveal their inner feelings and shared their prob.
