~Graduating soon!~

Just a degree of mine, will just give me the first step to become a professional psychologist. I am in dilemma now. Should I undertake postgraduate to study further as psychologist or should I just find a job in other industries after my degree. All this while, I know that there is a wide range of industries for us, who graduated in a Bachelor of Psychology to be positioned. As long as these jobs demand skills involving human interactions, research (im not keen on), and the most critical works are those who involve in analytical skills (nah, this I think I can master better among all, lol), to design/conduct/evaluate projects. It still broad that I can’t narrow down my focus on any particular sector. Til now, Im not really sure which sector interest me. Maybe I m not prepared to enter the job market?

As I know, most psychology graduates tend to be employed as project/program administrators (kinda like the business admin, I think), welfare and community workers (I think this category of ppl pay their pocket money instead of getting paid.), disability workers (I used to consider bout it), human resource professionals. According to lecturer, he said that average weekly earning for a project/program administrator or human resource professional can earn around $1000 per week…wah.. But im not about in Msia’s market. If really can earn that much, I mite consider about that. Haha. Since my first priority as psychologist might not be able to achieve so soon, then project administrator or community workers might be in my consideration. Besides, I think government administration, education might not bad too. But still, I think my major interest is working at the health and community services. Besides psychologist, I m always wanted to be counselor. If I really decided to work in the counseling field, guess will take another 2 ½ years to get my 4th year and master. Or should I just hold a degree and start my working life?haiz.. I believe when its time to decide, there sure be lots of circumstances that will influence and preventing me from making decision. If I could leave all the blockage and influences aside, I will start hunting for a better Uni to study postgraduate.

who care.
